Funding Forms for Preschool Parents

Every term we require all parents, who are claiming the NEF 2 Year Old Funding (15 hours) and 3-4 Year Old Funding (Universal 15 hours and Extended 30 hours), to fill out the relevant forms so that we can apply for their child's funding. We usually send them out as a paper copy but to be more eco-friendly and in some cases, user-friendly, we are making them available electronically (Preschool can provide paper copies). They are in Word format, so you can either complete them digitally and email back to finance@heathwood.beds.sch.uk or you can print a copy to fill out manually and pass back to Preschool or the School Office.

If you are not eligible for the funding, use the funding elsewhere or are paying for your child's hours at Heathwood Preschool, you do not need to fill out either of the attached forms but please email finance@heathwood.beds.sch.uk to let me know that you are self-funding your child's hours.

These forms are purely for us to apply for funding from Central Bedfordshire Council but for us to receive the funding you have to ensure that you filled in the forms. If you do not already have a valid code and would like to apply for further funding outside of the Universal 15 hour 3-4 Year Old funding (2 Year Old and Extended 3-4 Year Old funding code), apply via https://wwwchildcarechoices.gov.uk/ before the 31st March. If you do not apply before this date, you will be liable for your child's Preschool fees for the Summer Term as you can not apply retrospectively.

Ensure you read and use the relevant guidance when filling out your child's form. If you fill the form out incorrectly, you may be unable to claim for funding and may need to self-fund your child's hours.
